SCRIPT

A collapsing bridge in the World Cup host city of Belo Horizonte killed two people and injured at least 19 others. Traffic was travelling underneath the span when it collapsed.

The bridge, part of a highway overpass constructed in preparation for extra traffic to the football stadium, is about three miles from Mineirao stadium, which will host one of the semi-final matches on Tuesday.

The overpass was reportedly still under construction when it came down.
