Sources in Syria reported that al-Qaqa Brigade which previously fought under the banner of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) had joined the Syrian Mujahideen.In the statement, fighters of the rebel brigade said they abandoned
fighting under the banner of democracy and secularism and swore the
Bayat (oath of allegiance) to Emir of Mujahideen of Jubhat al-Nusra -
the most powerful Islamic movement in Syria at present.
Muslim volunteers from different countries are daily arriving in Syria.
For several months, there is an almost uninterrupted flow of fighters of
Al-Qaeda from Iraq who received valuable experience in Jihad against
Americans. The Mujahideen are fighting side by side with the rebels,
particularly in large cities like Aleppo.
