Bomb blast near public bus kills one & wounds several in Egypt capital

A bomb attack in the Egyptian capital Cairo has left at least one person dead and several others wounded.

Officials say the bomb had been planted on a sidewalk and exploded close to a public transport bus. The attack came only two days after 16 people were killed in another explosion on police headquarters in a Nile Delta city. The interim government has blamed Muslim Brotherhood for that attack and declared the group a terrorist organization. The Brotherhood, which has faced massive crackdown after the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi, has denied the allegation.
