Four dead as police pursuit ends in west Broward County, Florida

WEST BROWARD, Fla. (WSVN) -- The suspect in the fatal shooting of two women in Southwest Miami-Dade has died, police said, following a SWAT standoff after a chase ended in a violent crash in Broward County.

Police received a call about a double shooting inside an efficiency at a home located off Southwest 124th Avenue and 190th Street, sometime after 9 a.m., Wednesday. When police and emergency crews responded to the scene they found one woman dead and the other wounded. The survivor was soon transported to Kendall Regional Hospital with critical injuries where she later died.

According to a neighbor, a mother and daughter were shot by the mother's disgruntled boyfriend. However, Miami-Dade Police have yet to confirm any relationship between those involved at the shooting scene. Officials only confirmed that the two victims are adult women.
