Joggers Attacked By Dogs In Fairfield Ca.
Joggers were in a quiet residential neighborhood when a group of dogs suddenly attacked, authorities said.



Two women were attacked by a group of dogs loose in a Fairfield neighborhood Friday morning, suffering serious injuries, according to authorities.

The Fairfield Police Department said they received several reports of the attacks just after 6:00 a.m.

A 52-year-old Fairfield resident was jogging on the 600 block of Pavilion Avenue when three dogs -- a bull mastiff, a pit bull/mastiff mix and an American bull dog mix – attacked her.

One neighbor shot the bull mastiff, causing all three dogs to break off the attack.

The two unhurt dogs ran down the street until they encountered two other women who were jogging. One of the women, a 34-year-old Fairfield woman, tripped while trying to flee and was attacked.
