Russia submits evidence of insurgents possessing chemical weapons to UN

Russia's foreign minister says there's growing evidence that insurgents in Syria possess chemical weapons. Sergey Lavrov says a phone call between militants discussing the use of chemical weapons has been intercepted. He says he's asked the US and other states supporting militants to prevent them from seizing chemical weapons or using them. Lavrov says Russia has submitted evidence to the U-N showing that militants posses chemical weapons. Lavrov's remarks came a day after the UN Security Council unanimously approved a resolution which condemns the use of chemical weapons in Syria and calls for their destruction. The UN has confirmed the use of chemical weapons in Syria but has not indented who was behind it.
