Police refuse to investigate organised threat against Journalist

In June 2005, a disaffected BNP supporter warned Simon of an organised threat against him by BNP supporters. Simon recorded the encounter covertly and took the tape to the police. PS 1454 Ian Johnson ordered the matter NOT to be investigated, acting on orders from Notts 'Police' Special Branch. Simon had refused overtures to become a Special Branch agent in 1990, 1999 and again 2004. Because he refused to play ball, the 'police' refused to help him.
