Media Delegation from Latin America Visits Wounded Soldiers

A media delegation from Latin America on Tuesday went to Martyr Yusuf al-Azmah Hospital in Damascus to visit the soldiers who were injured by the terrorist groups' acts and the Israeli aggression against Syria sites on Sunday.

The delegation, comprising journalists from Venezuela, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Mexico, was briefed on the health conditions of the wounded and the acts of the armed terrorist groups in addition to the weapons used by them in these attacks, much of these weapons are Israeli-or western- made.

Naeem Sha'bouq, Head of the delegation and Chairman of the Syrian-Venezuelan Union of Social Media Networks, said that the visit aims to inspect the scale of the war waged against Syria and its army and convey the reality of the events in the country.

The journalists said that despite the fact that Syria is facing an attack perpetrated and supported by many countries in violation of all international charters, but the UN has not provided Syria with any help or support and rather played a negative role through it silence towards the terrorism targeting the country.

They stressed that there are big similarities between the campaign of media misinformation and fabrication in Syria and the one which took place in Iraq a decade ago as to justify waging a war against Iraq under a false pretext of accusing it of possessing weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).
