4 No Federal Civil Rights Charges For George Zimmerman. Race Baiters Moving To Ferguson In Search Of New Plunder...
No Federal Civil Rights Charges For George ZimmermanBy
Despite being acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman has been treated as if he was found guilty. Part of that treatment came in the form of a Justice Department civil rights investigation opened to determine if there was any racial motivation for the 2012 self-defense killing. Inside sources are reporting that the investigation has gone nowhere and that no federal charges will be brought against Zimmerman.
The Justice Department is not expected to bring civil rights charges against George Zimmerman in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, according to three law enforcement officials, despite allegations that the killing was racially motivated.
Who made those allegations? Al Sharpton? You can tell how biased The WaPo is by the phrasing of that last sentence. The writer is trying to say that the case shouldn’t be closed because there are allegations of the shooting being racially motivated. As if allegations alone are enough to keep the case going.
Obviously the feds found nothing and so they are moving on. In fact, that’s pretty much what the writer says next:
The federal investigation of Zimmerman was opened two years ago by the department’s civil rights division, but officials said there is insufficient evidence to bring federal charges. The investigation technically remains open, but it is all but certain the department will close it.
This news is killing the writer who lashes out with more subtle bias:
Martin, a 17-year-old African American from Florida, was unarmed when he was fatally shot by Zimmerman, a former volunteer neighborhood watchman who identifies himself as Hispanic. The killing sparked racial tension and protests across the country and drew emotional responses from President Obama and other top administration officials.
So Zimmerman isn’t actually Hispanic, he just identifies himself that way? What about Martin? Was he really an African American, or was that just something he called himself?
More to the point, the WaPo fails to mention that Martin attacked Zimmerman and was slamming his head into the pavement. Zimmerman shot and killed Martin in self-defense. This is not an opinion, it’s a fact proven in a court of law. It’s also a fact according to emotional Obama and his Justice Department, as they can find absolutely no wrong doing here.
It turns out that the Justice Department was unable to find any evidence that Zimmerman, the white Hispanic, held racist beliefs or harbored any animosity towards blacks. In fact, they found Zimmerman had quite a few black friends and even once organized a protest on behalf of a black man that was beaten by the police. He’s not exactly the racist killer the media portrayed him as.
Considering how badly Attorney General Eric Holder would have loved to nail Zimmerman, this seems like the biggest endorsement possible. If a black activist AG can’t find anything that will stick, there really isn’t anything there.
Okay, so Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges related to the Martin shooting, and now the Justice Department is closing their case without filing additional civil rights violations. Does this mean we can finally put this thing to bed and accept that it was a non-racially motivated case of simple self-defense? Not by a long shot. Not as long as Al Sharpton has a say about it.
Unfortunately for George Zimmerman he will always be viewed as someone worse than Hitler by the media and the black community. His life will never be normal again no matter how many times his name is cleared.
