Germany: Berlonx is planning huge integration district on recreational area

Berlin plans to build a huge "refugee" district for - at first - 7,000 "refugees" on former military/airport terrain Tempelhofer Feld.

According to Mayor Angelika Schöttler, the district, which will replace the recreational area, will include schools, day care centers, gyms, a soccer field with fan stands and a welfare agency.

Despite Tempelhofer Feld Law (which was voted by public referendum in 2014) only allowing recreational and gastronomical use, Schöttler will stick to her plans - by altering the law.

With this, Mayor Schöttler is planning the nucleus for a new ghetto which will sooner or much sooner spread on the neighboring district - among them the famous haven of cultural diversity Neukölln.;amp;tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&
