69 Video: Syria's Shayrat airbase active after US missile strike
The Syrian airforce resumed operations on Saturday, after restoration works were carried out in Al-Shayrat air base. Though the runway of the base was not damaged by any of 59 Tomahawk missiles launched by US forces, six MiG-23 aircrafts, as well as a radar station and some other building were ruined. At least four people were reportedly killed by the strike, though some sources claim there were 10 victims. On Friday the Shayrat air base was the target of a US Tomahawk missile strike ordered by US President Donald Trump.
