Helicopter Sling Load Operation In Sinai, Egypt 

Soldier in 732nd Forward Support Company, performs her first slingload
hook-up with the assistance of the Battalion Sling Load Inspector. The
732nd Forward Support Company, the "Buzzards" out of Reidsville and
Roxboro, NC, provide logistical support to the 5-113th Field Artillery
Battalion. Currently the battalion's is deployed to Sinai, Egypt to
support the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO), whose assignment is
to observe and report in order to verify compliance of the Camp David
Peace accord.

  • This is at the Tehran Island off the Sinai peninsula. I was in the MFO program with the 101st Airborne Division supporting 1/502nd (STRIKE!). South Camp is owned by a retired SF Sergeant Major named, 'Herb' and we had an adopted Australian Shepherd named, 'Sandy.' The MFO program is the Army's best kept secret. Good times!
