Bus Driver Stabbed AND Suspended

A Georgia bus driver was suspended after he restrained a knife-wielding passenger, and the incident was caught on video. Police say Tanisha Twyne got into an argument with another passenger when driver Damian Haney came back to see what was going on. The video shows Twyne producing a knife, which she then used to threaten Haney. She reportedly lunged at the driver, and then the struggle ensued.

Haney and a security guard couldn't get the knife away from Twyne until police arrived with a taser.

The driver had to get stitches for his wounds, and that's when he was suspended.

Veolia Transportation, which also operates in Nassau County, says it has a policy against ejecting or accosting a passenger.
