The Protestants rejected Catholic Tradition based on Levitical Records of the Courses of the Priesthood and derived an incorrect birthdate in the Autumn for the Son of God during Tabernalces however, the week they chose for the Course of Abijah to serve would actully end, nine months later, not in the Seventh Jewish Month but in the Fifth which saw the destruction of the Jewish Temple - certainly not very good symbolism for the Son of God to Tabernacle among us.
Now, however, each Course of Priests actually served for two weeks every year and when we look at the second week served by the Course of Abijah then we arrive at an incredible confirmation of the Traditional Date during the Feast of Hanukkah which was known as the Second Tabernacles when the remainder of the various Harvests were presented in the Temple including the Olive Harvest with its Olive Oil which fueled the Golden Menorah.
Further, since Mary was not suffering from the Curse of Genesis 3:15 then Y'shua's gestation period was not 9 months but only 7 but Mary and Joseph didn't know this so, in her seventh month, thinking they still had two more months to go, they headed over to Jerusalem to register for the Tax by Augustus and to see Jerusalem all lit up for Hanukkah.
One could almost imagine that it was this very sight that triggered the birthpains...
