B-52 aircraft crash at Fairchild AFB - Long Version

The B-52 crash at Fairchild Air Force Base was an aircraft mishap that occurred on June 24, 1994. In the mishap, Bud Holland, who was piloting a United States Air Force (USAF) B-52 Stratofortress based at Fairchild Air Force Base (AFB) (callsign Czar 52) in a rehearsal for an upcoming airshow, flew the aircraft beyond its operational parameters and lost control. As a result, the aircraft stalled, impacted the ground, and was completely destroyed. The entire crew of four was fatally injured.
