Spain: Semi-naked, 'blood' soaked animal rights activists protest against bullfighting *EXPLICIT*

Activists from the animal rights group AnimaNaturalis staged a protest in Valencia on Sunday, stripping off and covering themselves in fake blood to decry the bullfighting tradition as this year's season kicks off.

After stripping down to underwear, the largely female protesters doused themselves in the fake blood from buckets upon which was written "Valencia: bloodbath for bulls". Spokesperson for the group said was "a demonstration of all the blood that is spilled these days in the 'Fallas.' It is not necessary to spill blood to enjoy a party like ours here in Valencia."

SOT, spokesperson of AnimaNaturalis (Spanish): "Today's event has been a demonstration of all the blood that is spilled these days in the 'Fallas.' It is not necessary to spill blood to enjoy a party like ours here in Valencia."

SOT, spokesperson of AnimaNaturalis (Spanish): "Today we asked some activists to become semi-nude, and carry buckets of blood to represent all the blood that is going to be shed these days in the bullring, using the Fallas festivity as an excuse."
