Scores of protesters gathered outside the Ukrainian embassy in Rome to protest fascism in Ukraine and Europe on Saturday. The event was initiated by well-known journalist Julietto Kieza.
Kieza said that the "so-called revolution in Euromaidan has been paid straightly by the United States" and that for the first time since WW2 "Nazism reappears in the centre of Europe with the aid of the United States."
Protesters held up signs depicting Yulia Tymoshenko as Hitler and calling for NATO to "go away", alongside one banner stating "No to the Nazi coup d'etat in Ukraine" in Italian.
