Armed Robber Hits Watering Hole

HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers and Robbery Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's help in identifying the man wanted for an armed robbery.

On Thursday, June 23, 2011, at approximately 11:20 A.M., a white man entered the bar and grill located in the 4000 block of Spring Cypress Road. Het asked the woman bartender if the bar and grill was open. The suspect then proceeded to the men's restroom. The suspect exited the restroom and stood near the front door. The suspect pulled out a gun, approached the victim and demanded the cash from the register. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash along with the victim's belongings and fled.

The robber is 30-40 years of age, 5'08" - 5'10", weighing 190-210 lbs. He was wearing a light colored shirt, blue jean pants, and an orange cap and driving a white Ford SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
