Police Facebook Group Makes Hilarious Michael Brown Memorial

My note: While normally I am loathe to involve myself in any social media drama, I merely found the story humorous and thought I would share. I would also appreciate it if I could comment on my own damn uploads.

There is no actual memorial, of course, merely a photoshopped picture:

A facebook group called "Police Officers," ostensibly made up of actual LEOs, posted a hilarious image near the 1 year anniversary of Michael Brown's fatal mistake. They even made a nice poem, which follows:

There once was a thug named Brown,
Who bum-rushed a cop with a frown,
Six bullets later,
He met his creator,
And his homies burnt down the town.

The above rhyme supposedly has its origins in the now-banned sub-reddit "Coontown".

In a post explaining why it's perfectly appropriate to mock the late Brown, the administrator of the group typed: "Mike Brown chose his path, one that has lead [sic] this country into complete divisiveness. He’s not a martyr, he was a thug, who robbed a clerk then made the adult choice to fight a cop, of which he intended to murder[...] At the end of the day, the person truly responsible for the killing of Mike Brown is Mike Brown himself.”

The post has, of course, since been deleted. Can't have freedom of expression now can we?
