Shut Down all small business, $12/gallon milk NYC?

Hurricane Sandy, the Main Stream Media wanted all corner markets put out of business for price gouging in the urban New York City and New Jersey areas. Without electricity, public transportation, or even taxis available, Bodega owners were taking little red wagons, to get coolers for ice and milk and other items to sell to their neighbors with a long trek to their shops, walking. The main stream media owned by the biggest corporations, put out the word that they wanted all these little shop owners put out of business, the end of bodegas in New York City. If I was a shop owner, I would charge $20 a gallon. If I was trapped in New York City and it was a choice of $20 per gallon milk, or no milk, I would spend the $20. Why do you think there is a current run on cash in New York City? Monopolies like Amazon should position themselves as saviors of the world. Are they instead the slavers of the world, bent on reducing our power and numbers as individuals?
