Armed robbers holding up fast food restaurant employees at gunpoint

Two men who have been terrorizing employees at fast food restaurants in North Broward since late January have struck again.

Broward Sheriff's Office detectives say the robbers' most recent theft occurred Monday at a Burger King at 2200 W. Sample Rd. in Pompano Beach.

The gunmen typically storm into restaurants, then ask the employees for cash, BSO said.

A surveillance video captured the robbers in action when they held up employees at gunpoint at the McDonald's at 300 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach. One of the thieves is seen walking toward a woman in the back office. After noticing she had the phone off the hook, the robber pressed the barrel of his gun up to her cheek and pushed her head against a wall. The woman fell to the ground. The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two robbers are described as being black males, between 18 and 25 years of age, five-foot-five to five-foot-10 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. They mostly dress in black shirts and either blue jeans or black pants and disguise their faces
