13-year-old girl said to be pimped out by her mother

Tallahassee, Florida. More than 170 people have been charged over the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl said to have been pimped out by her mother. A total of 106 people were charged with felony sex crimes related to the girl, who lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with that list comprised of 100 men and six women. Another 72 suspects were charged with less serious offences, including solicitation of prostitution. Those arrested include a PE teacher, aspiring politician and convicted sex offenders. Tallahassee Police Department Investigator Elizabeth Bascom said that the child ‘worked through her birthday as if it did not exist, who worked through Thanksgiving while we sat at tables and enjoyed our families, who worked through Christmas like it wasn’t even there.’ Charges against the girl’s alleged abusers were announced on Tuesday during a press conference about Operation Stolen Innocence, which centers solely around bringing those who exploited the girl to justice. The list of suspects includes six women – one of whom may be the child’s mother – as well as multiple convicted sex offenders (Picture: Tallahassee PD) Police refused to comment on whether the girl’s mother was involved. But defendants charged with abusing her reportedly said the unnamed mom demanded visitors brought money or drugs before they could rape her daughter. Operation Stolen Innocence began in 2018 after investigators spotted an online advert offering people the chance to rape the underage child for money. Tallahassee Police Department’s Special Victims Unit were able to make contact with the girl, who cooperated with their attempts to rescue her. Investigators began making arrests in July, and brought in their final suspects earlier this week, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell said the victim is ‘on the road to recovery, and she’s doing well given the situation.’ Revell said the girl is keen to testify in court, although it is unclear how many of the 178 suspects will end up being tried. Special Victims Unit Investigator Bascom added: ‘She does have things to say. ‘She was able to say that this has seriously impacted her life, and it is very difficult at times. But she is working to get her life back
