Only The Best - Did Trump's Postmaster General Commit A Felony?

In his recent testimony before a House Oversight subcommittee, former chief White House ethics lawyer (George W. Bush administration), Richard Painter, offered a powerful condemnation of Louis DeJoy's ethical entanglements as Postmaster General of the United States. Painter went so far as to suggest that DeJoy's very employment as the head of the United States Postal Service may likely constitute a felony under United States Code 18: ยง 208.

Given the fact that DeJoy's ongoing ownership of a company that contracts directly with the USPS, his appointment to the position of Postmaster General of the USPS would indeed seem to violate the very letter and spirit of that particular law; thus constituting a felony.
