1000s gather outside White House to denounce racial inequality

Protests against police brutality are underway across the United States for the 12th consecutive day.
Thousands have gathered outside the White House to denounce racial inequality in the country. Scuffles broke out between police and protesters in the city of Minneapolis. In San Francisco, protesters temporarily shut down the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. People are holding rallies and marches from Los Angeles to New York to demand sweeping reforms in U-S law enforcement. On its second weekend, the protests have evolved into the most serious case of civil unrest in the country since 19-68.
