Ukrainian passenger jet crashed after being hit by Russian-built Tor-M1 missile

The OSINT experts cataloged and mapped some of the debris of the Ukrainian passenger jet and claim that some debris from Boeing 737-800 shows signs of a missile strike.

The Russia-built Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system, known to NATO as Gauntlet is an all-weather low to medium altitude, short-range surface-to-air missile system designed for engaging airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, precision guided munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles and short-range ballistic threats

Suspicious wreckage found at Ukraine plane crash impact site appears to be the nose cone section and control fins of 9M331 surface-to-air missile. It is employed by the Russian-made Tor-M1 mobile air defense system and features a semi-automatic command to line of sight (SACLOS) guidance system. This system currently in service of the Iranian military deployed at a military base near the crash site.

Ukraine's top security official said on Thursday that its passenger airliner that crashed in Iran, killing all 176 passengers and crew on board, may have been downed by the Russian-made missile.

US intelligence are 'confident' the airliner was shot down by Iran after detecting two missile launches

Pentagon officials said missiles likely fired in error by Iranian crews on alert for US response to the Iran rocket strike on US bases in Iraq.

Additional video of the crash has been found

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump said he had a terrible feeling about the disaster while offering no evidence.

"Somebody could have made a mistake," Trump told reporters at a the White House, adding that he had suspicions about the crash but giving no other details.

Moscow has for decades supplied Tehran with sophisticated weaponry, and Iran tested the Tor M1 missiles in 2007.
