Activists hold "Puerto Rico Independence March" at UN General Assembly

About one hundred activists marched from Columbus Circle to the United Nations in New York City Saturday afternoon to demand Puerto Rican Independence from the United States.

The group says they don't believe in the "statehood" solution to Puerto Rico. Instead, they favor debt cancellation, reparations, and total sovereignty from the United States.
