Old American Lock FINALLY picked open

I've been working on this lock for a few months and finally figured out that medium/heavy tension is what opens this lock. Usually American locks like feather light tension but since this lock is very old, it must have been different back then. It also has a serrated spool which I've never encountered before with newer American locks. The serrated spool gives me a false set and then bits into the shear line so that I can't set it. Fun lock to figure out.
