Fox News Axe Toss Almost Kills Man!

News segments always want to grab the attention of the viewers watching. More so for early morning shows. Some do a better job at it than others.

Take for example Fox News’ show Fox and Friends. The decided to have a segment about timber sports. So of course to make it more interesting they sent one of the co-host outside of the studio to give the sport a try. The only thing is, things didn't go as planned.

Pete Hegseth, the co-host, was outside showing the viewers some of the type of games that you would see in timber sports. One, of them happened to be ax throwing. So instead of letting a professional show him how it is done, Hegseth decided to try it out for himself. He end up throwing the ax terribly off target and hit a drummer who was warming up behind the target!

This wasn’t just any drummer though, it was Jeff Prosperie, who is part of the West Point Hellcats. The good news is that Hegseth is a terrible ax thrower, so Prosperie only walked away with minor bruises.

Prosperie accused Hegseth of going off script saying, “My leadership told me they were told there would be no ax throwing. I think the anchor person went rogue.”

Laying on farther criticism he went on to say, “Poor decision, obvious negligence, should not have happened, could have been avoided. When shooting or throwing, always know what is behind your target. Basic safety rule.”

It should come as no surprise, but Hegseth won’t be throwing any axes any time soon.
