China: Brave bathers take a dip in world’s first high-altitude pool

Brave bathers got the first chance to take a dip in the world’s first high-altitude glass bottomed pool at Wanfu hot spring hotel in Zhangjiajie, Saturday.

The 0.6 metre deep and two metres wide dipping pool hangs off the side of a nine-story steel structure building overlooking the verdant Hunan hills.

One visitor shared her experience, "I think I pushed my limits today. I have a fear of height and water. It is a real breakthrough for me."
