First flight of a Monarch Butterfly

Found some unusual huge ugly black with white/yellow stripes caterpillars eating up one of my ornamental plants. After angrily smashing a few, I decided to save the last three to watch them hatch. After about two weeks, I went in to the shop on a Saturday morning and found the last two had hatched into beautiful Monarch butterflies. I carefully took them outside to record their wings opening for the first time, and had difficulty getting a good shot. So with the camera off, I blew on them gently, and they both TOOK OFF- crap! Started recording and shooting blindly as I could not see the camera screen in the sun. Good luck in the world, my little butterfly children! A nice change from dashcams and hood fights is called for once in a while.
