Russian police arrested socks with hemp patterns on them

In Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia, the police conducted a special operation with a control purchase of socks due to the hemp pattern on them.

In the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan, a consignment of socks with a hemp pattern was withdrawn from sale, according to the website of the Rise project

Cops dressed in civilian clothes made a test purchase. Then they showed badges and arrested 106 pairs of men's socks on sale. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided, the perpetrator may also face a fine of 40 to 50 thousand rubles or a ban on trade.

Previously, police had already raided this market - in July they seized panamaa with a picture of hemp.
