Drifting container ship takes down crane in port of Antwerp

In the port of Antwerp, a ship crashed into a crane on Monday afternoon. The crane collapsed and ended up partly in the water. No one was injured. The damage on the quay is extensive.

The ship was unleashed at a terminal of a container company and drifted, reports the Port Authority. The 328-metre-long ship, the APL Mexico City, was brought under control with the help of six tugs and a shed. A great deal of damage to the ship still needs to be repaired before it can continue its journey
