State in east India constructs first road made of non-recyclable plastic

The east Indian state of Tripura constructed its first road made from non-recyclable plastics.

The 680-metre road is being built in the city of Agartala, as seen in footage from February 23, as part of an effort to reduce plastic pollution in the state.
