EU sanctions against Russia extended until March 2020

The EU has prolonged personal sanctions against Russia for another six months - until March 15, 2020. The respective statement may be found at the Council of Europe's official website.

The restrictions concern 170 individuals and 44 companies that undermine or threaten Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence. They foresee assets freezes and travel bans.
