OKCPD releases body cam of armed carjacker's arrest

Police released body camera video of the arrest of the suspect in a carjacking that took place early Sunday, Nov. 17.

According to a report, Raymond Hickman, 28, pulled up next to a car at the Petro Gas Station on 20 S. Martin Luther King and asked the owner of the car next to him "Where can I get some weed."

The victim, an employee of the gas station, told police that he told Hickman he didn't know and was just getting off work.

While still inside his vehicle, the victim, said Hickman pulled out a gun and told him to empty his pockets.

The victim said he emptied his pockets and gave everything to Hickman, one of the items being his keys.

Hickman then took off in the victim's car.

Police arrested Hickman in the area of SW 17th and Westwood Blvd, he was transported to Southwest Medical Center to be medically cleared then taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
