A step too fur! Bears fight over territory in Russia’s Far East

A trail camera caught two brown bears fighting near the Russia-China border in the Jewish Autonomous Region on May 11. In the dramatic video, the bears go toe-to-toe for territory and break a barbed-wire border fence in the process. It remains unclear who won the fight as the recording ends abruptly after the trail camera gets smashed by the bears. The Jewish Autonomous Region in Russia’s Far East is known for its endangered Amur tigers and leopards.
