Police Involved Shooting Haverhill, Massachusetts.

State police are investigating the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Haverhill Friday morning, officials said. Haverhill police were responding to a domestic violence call from a residence at 23 Thorndike Street around 5:15 a.m. when the shooting occurred, according to Carrie Kimball, spokesperson for the Essex District Attorney's Office. One male suspect was shot. He was taken to Lawrence General Hospital and then moved to a Boston hospital for treatment, the DA's office said. No officers were injured in the incident. During the investigation, the road was blocked off at the intersection with Grove Street. Police were seen collecting a handgun, a knife and a long white box in the area.
