Putin Critic Nikolay Glushkov Died From “Compression To The Neck”

Police in the UK have launched a murder investigation into the death of the Russian businessman who was the right-hand man of one of Vladimir Putin’s leading critics.

Scotland Yard confirmed today that a post-mortem examination found that Nikolay Glushkov had died from “compression to the neck”.

Mr Glushkov, 68, was a close friend of Boris Berezovsky, the anti-Putin oligarch who died in 2013.

Counter-terrorism police are investigating the death of Mr Glushkov, who was found at his home in south-west London on Monday.

His death came days after the poisoning of Sergei Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, in Salisbury.
