Body cam video shows Marine's rescue 9 from sinking boat

Body cam video captured the moment the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit rescued nine people from a boat sinking outside Destin's East Pass on Friday.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office shared the video on Tuesday:

Marine units responded to the scene around 3 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of a boat flipped in the water. While a few suffered minor injuries, all nine passengers were recovered safely.

The U.S Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife and Beach Safety Units assisted in the rescue, as did Destin Beach Safety and Destin Fire Department.
