Body Cam Shows Tulsa Police K9 Search And Find Suspect Hiding In A Jeep

Tulsa police released body cam video of the chase and arrest of 42-year-old Sebastian Cobelo on Oct. 22.

Police were sent to check out a suspicious vehicle outside a home near 11th and Sheridan. The caller told police the white sedan was parked in the street and still running.

Officers discovered Cobelo sleeping inside the car. TPD noticed a gun in the vehicle and told him to step out of the car, but he drove away.

Officers pursued Cobelo across Sheridan and into a neighborhood where he crashed into a fence near 11th and Joplin.

Cobelo got out of the car and ran. Police used K-9 officers to help track him down. They found him hiding behind a Jeep on the property near 9th and Hudson.

Cobelo was immediately taken into custody.

Officers found a stolen semiautomatic pistol, a large amount of methamphetamine and nearly half an ounce of marijuana inside his car. They also found a lot of cash on his person.
