SpaceX launches a rocket through the foggy sky

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket has successfully launched from the SLC-4E launch pad of Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The rocket lifted off at 14:17 UTC, June 12th 2019 carrying 3 satellites that form the Radarsat Constellation Mission (RCM) for the Canadian Space Agency.

The Falcon 9's first stage touched down on the nearby Landing Zone 4 of VAFB for the first time, with previous west coast flights using a barge out to sea.
