Police chase Driver with his Kids inside the Vehicle

Pasco County, Florida. The Pasco Sheriff's Office released body camera footage of a chase that occurred on Nov. 19, 2020. A STAR deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a window tint violation near the intersection of San Marco and US 19, Port Richey. Although the vehicle appeared to begin stopping, the vehicle ultimately fled into a mobile home park. The suspect driving the fleeing vehicle eventually lost control and crashed into a pond.
Deputies and citizens rushed into the pond to rescue the suspect, a passenger and two children within the vehicle. No one was injured. As deputies were pulling the suspect later identified as Jonathan Mark DeLoach, 30 years old from the vehicle, a baggie, which contained a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine, was discovered floating in front of the suspect. The suspect was then arrested for several charges. The suspect also had three outstanding warrants, which he states is the reason he fled.
