ROCHESTER, N.H. — An officer-involved shooting Monday in Rochester is under investigation, officials said.

Few details were released. The attorney general's office and state police said there was an officer-involved shooting that is being investigated, but there was no word on the extent of any injuries.

Video of the scene on Route 125 in the Gonic section of Dover showed several police cruisers and armed officers.

Police allege the man was holding a weapon as he stepped out of the vehicle and laid on the ground. It is alleged the person on the ground rolled over to show he was not holding anything, and police opened fire with a single shot, followed by repeated shots seconds later as the man continued to roll on the ground.
