The NYPD is releasing today body-worn camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Oct. 8, 2020, in the confines of the 113th Precinct.

The video includes available evidence and details leading up to the incident as well as during the incident.

The Suspect Tyran Dent, 24 shot 5 times at the officers and the officers shot a total of 59 times.

The Suspect Tyran Dent was previously involved in a shooting.

The NYPD is releasing this video for clear viewing of the totality of the incident.

All NYPD patrol officers are equipped with body-worn cameras.
