17-year-old with Tourette's Syndrome explains how she copes with her diagnosis

This 17-year-old girl from Worcestershire, England, has set out to educate people on what it's like living with Tourette Syndrome.

Cece created a TikTok account to show how she deals with her ticks daily.

The video is a compilation of clips filmed over October and November of Cece's life, where she tells her story.

Cece explains that when she's concentrating on a task her ticks are barely noticeable, as seen when she's playing the piano.

Cece explained in the video: “I was nine years old when I got a tick in my leg but was only diagnosed with motor tick disorder when I was 15. It’s impacted my life in a big way, and when they got worse I developed vocal ticks I felt I had to hide them from my friends and family, especially at school because I was scared of getting bullied or judged.

"The public's reaction has been amazing, overall, I've had so many messages and comments saying I've helped them understand and even asking questions, this is amazing as I didn't realise most people are willing to learn and support us. "
