Photos of a Victorian Era Zoo in Belgium During the 1850s

A collection of salted paper print photographs of the Royal Zoological Garden in Brussels taken by Belgian photographer Louis-Pierre-Théophile Dubois de Nehaut between 1854 and 1856. The zoo closed in 1880 and the land eventually became Leopold Park.
