Migrants turn back, board bus bound for Honduras

Poor living conditions and unrest along the US-Mexico border has caused a number of migrants to turn back.

For weeks, migrants – most of them from Honduras – have been camping by the US-Mexico border in Tijuana for a chance of gaining entry to the States, but with passing day, more and more are losing hope and turning back.

This video, filmed on November 26, shows migrants boarding a bus bound for Honduras.

On Sunday, peaceful protests turned violent, leading to US border patrol guards firing tear gas to disperse crowds. Tijuana police said 39 migrants were arrested.

Thousands still remain at the border as they wait for agents to process their claims.
