And a federal magistrate judge made an independent finding that probable cause existed to approve the search warrant. Attorney General Holder understands the concerns that have been raised by the media and has initiated a reevaluation of existing Department policies and procedures. This review will include extensive engagement with representatives of the media. The Department must strike the appropriate balance between its obligation to enforce the laws preventing leaks of classified information and First Amendment rights, and, through a new media shield law and appropriate updates to the Department's internal guidelines, we are committed to achieving that balance. When Holder appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on May 15, four days before the Post reported on the Rosen investigation, Holder expressed skepticism of prosecuting reporters, as lawmakers asked him about the AP probe. "You've got a long way to go to try to prosecute people - the press for the publication of that material," Holder told the committee, according to a transcript service. But he also said that he had never been aware of potential prosecutions of reporters. "Well, I would say this. With regard to the potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material, that is not something that I've ever been involved in, heard of or would think would be a wise policy," Holder said, responding to Georgia Democratic Rep. Hank Johnson's suggestion that reporters' First Amendment rights should be protected. The Rosen leak was part of another prosecution - of the alleged leaker - but the Justice Department did suggest, in seeking a warrant for Rosen's G-mail account, that he may have broken the law. FBI agent Reginald Reyes wrote in an affidavit that "there is probably cause to believe that the Reporter has committed or is committing a violation of section 793(d), as an aider and abbettor and/or co-conspirator, to which the materials relate." But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term? 1. Obama's unbounded ego. In three and a half years, Obama will be out of a job. He is 50 now and wants to soar to greater heights, because that's what matters more than anything else in his life. What's better to Obama's Napoleonic self than being U.N. Sec Gen? He is a man who wants to be worshiped by the world, and the path to that goal is clear. It is also an opportunity to carry out his internationalist and pro-Muslim convictions. Personalities like his need the excitement of taking big risks for big gains. Obama's slogan "the audacity of hope" comes from Napoleon's general, who described his war strategy as "Audacity, audacity, always audacity!" As a European Socialist, Obama does not believe in the U.S. Constitution. His appointees have no conscience about violating the Constitution, as is obvious from today's news about fundamental IRS violations, fundamental invasion of news reporters' privileges under the First Amendment, and fundamental violations of the ethics of combat commanders -- leaving soldiers under fire to the tender mercies of a vicious enemy. Obama is audacity man -- violating decent values is his specialty. Bill and Hillary found that out when he played the race card against them at the 2008 Democratic Convention. Democrats always play the race card, but never against each other. In 2008, Obama violated that rule, and he got away with it. 3. Butt-kissing tyrants. If Obama wants to run for U.N. SecGen after 2016, he needs two things: a U.S. nomination by a Democratic president and a majority vote in the U.N. General Assembly. Let's say Hillary gets elected in 2016, as Democrats now are hoping. She nominates Obama to be U.N. SecGen, to rousing cheers from the New York Times and Washington Post , the U.K. Guardian , and Workers' World . Now Obama needs a majority of U.N. General Assembly votes. By butt-kissing every throwback tyrant in sight, Obama is buying U.N. votes for himself. Obama's public bows to throwbacks like Saudi's King Abdullah and the emperor of Japan are not just another weird thing about this guy. They are strategic, with the purpose of lining up support for the future. There are 57 Muslim states. (Remember Obama's slip of the tongue when he talked about "all 57 states"? He wasn't thinking about Heinz 57 flavors. He was thinking about Muslim states.) Europe is the home of imperialist socialism. The European Union is the successor to the Soviet Union, run by an appointed political machine just like the USSR. Obama is a EuroSoc, and he will get enthusiastic support from there. South America will vote for him, because he is actively supporting leftist regimes below the border. Obama's recent trip to Mexico was full of bowing and scraping to Mexico's tender feelings about losing Texas and California in the 19th century. Blowing open the border is just another favor Obama is doing for Latin America. If you combine his unbounded ego with his penchant for audacious trickery, it becomes clear why Obama would want to be U.N. Secretary General. It would crown Obama's life achievements and allow him to crow over the United States with its old-fashioned constitution designed to limit the powers of such as The Trickster. President Obama could have used the Benghazi attack on 9/11 last year to look like the commander in chief, a role he loves to play. The United States was apparently acting in collusion with radical Muslim factions, probably including al-Qaeda in the Maghreb (the Mediterranean coast of North Africa). We know that Stevens even hired another jihadist faction to guard the CIA compound. Early Benghazi reports showed that they magically disappeared on the day of the attack, as did the Libyan police. That is completely, profoundly cynical, or it is simply aiding the enemy. There are many reasons for that collusion, but protecting the United States is not one of them. The policy of appeasement and treachery protects radical Islam and endangers the West. However, if Obama wants to be SecGen of the United Nations in four years, there is an extra reason to buy votes in the Middle East. None of this should ever become public knowledge, as far as Obama and Hillary are concerned. Benghazi therefore had to be covered up at any price. The murder of soldier Lee Rigby has provoked a backlash of anti-Muslim anger across the UK, including the attacking of mosques, racial abuse and comments on social media.By Tom Whitehead, Security Editor 12:59PM BST 25 May 2013 Reports of attacks to one helpline have increased more than six fold in the days since Wednesday's atrocity, allegedly carried out by Islamic fanatics. They have included "focused, very aggressive attacks", a spokesman said. A number of people were appearing in various courts around the country for a series of unrelated alleged racist incidents. Police in Newcastle were also bracing themselves for a rally organised by the English Defence League and arrested three people ahead of the event for allegedly making racist tweets. Faith Matters, which works to reduce extremism, said its helpline had been inundated with reports of attacks, including some on mosques. Before the Woolwich murder between four to eight cases a day were reported but it had received up to 150 in the last few days. Fiyaz Mughal, director of Faith Matters, told BBC Radio Five Live: "What's really concerning is the spread of these incidents. They're coming in from right across the country. "Secondly, some of them are quite aggressive very focused, very aggressive attacks. And thirdly, there also seems to be significant online activity ... suggesting co-ordination of incidents and attacks against institutions or places where Muslims congregate." A 22-year-old man was appearing before magistrates in Lincoln charged with making malicious comments on Facebook. Benjamin Flatters, from the city, was arrested on Thursday after complaints were made to Lincolnshire Police about comments made on the social networking site which were allegedly of a racist or antireligious nature, a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said. Avon and Somerset Police arrested and bailed two men for making alleged offensive comments on Twitter about the murder. A 23-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from Bristol, were held under the Public Order Act on suspicion of inciting racial or religious hatred. Detective Inspector Ed Yaxley of Avon and Somerset Police said: "These comments were directed against a section of our community. Comments such as these are completely unacceptable and only cause more harm to our community in Bristol. "People should stop and think about what they say on social media before making statements as the consequences could be serious." Two men, from London, were also due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court charged with religiously aggravated threatening behaviour over an incident in an east London fast food restaurant on Thursday. Labourer Toni Latcal, 32, was charged with religiously aggravated threatening behaviour and causing criminal damage while plasterer Eugen-Aurelian Eugen-Beredei, 34, was charged with religiously aggravated threatening behaviour. Surrey Police said a 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with comments placed on a social media website following the murder of the soldier. In Surrey, Mohammed Mazar, 19, of Balmoral Drive, Woking, has been charged in connection with comments placed on a social media website following the murder of the soldier. He was freed on police bail to appear at South West Surrey Magistrates' Court on June 11. Superintendent Matt Goodridge said: "Surrey Police will not tolerate language used in a public place, including on social media websites, which causes harassment, alarm or distress." Adam Rogers, 28, of Kingsman Street, Woolwich, has been charged by police after allegedly posting an offensive message on Facebook. He was to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court accused of sending an "offensive, indecent or menacing message" online. Meanwhile, a 23-year-old woman has been charged with allegedly sending a "grossly offensive" message on Facebook, Hampshire Constabulary said. Michaela Turner, of Lumsden Road, Southsea, was arrested at her home after a post was uploaded at 10.42pm on Wednesday. The post has since been removed. A police spokesman said: "Following the terrorist incident in Woolwich this week, Hampshire Constabulary is working closely with local partnership groups to safeguard all members of the community. "If we see a burning car, we let it burn if there is no risk of the fire spreading to other cars or buildings nearby. By doing so we minimize the risk of having rocks thrown at us." Swedish parking laws, however, continue to be rigidly enforced despite the increasingly chaotic situation. Early Wednesday, while documenting the destruction after a night of rioting in the Stockholm suburb of Alby, a reporter from Fria Tider observed a parking enforcement officer writing a ticket for a burnt-out Ford. When questioned, the officer explained that the ticket was issued because the vehicle lacked a tag showing its time of arrival. The fact that the vehicle had been effectively destroyed - its windshield smashed and the interior heavily damaged by fire - was irrelevant according to the meter maid, who asked Fria Tider's photographer to destroy the photos he had taken. Her employer, the parking company P-service, refused to comment when Fria Tider contacted them on Wednesday afternoon.
