  • I have to agree that Rugby is the superior sport over american football. These fellows look fit as hell. Most of the NFL guys look like they are going to have heart attacks at any moment. Not to mention the padding..

  • Sorry, you won't convince many Americans that the NFL is for sissies and the hits are nothing simply because they wear protective gear and helmets. It's very simple - what science has proven and obvious by seeing is that the hits are far more violent because wearing protection frees players up to hit as hard as possible and as fast as possible which results in far higher G forces.   • Played all of em, aussie rules, rugby, gridiron. Gridiron may have less hits then a rugby game, but when you get hit you get hit, every set players are running at 100%, rugby most of the time players are just jogging to make a hit.
