I wish the little dude luck. It's gonna be hard and it may never be that he is where I'm sure he wants to be (running and happy).
Got a dog that's 15 this year and I know he wishes that he was younger. I gave him the best life I could because he was and still is the best dog EVER. We still walk everyday, although not as far as we used to. Take care of your pets!
